Whitefish Chain of Lakes
Your shoreline may be on any of 14 lakes in the Whitefish Chain of Lakes: Upper Whitefish Lake, Lower Whitefish Lake, Cross Lake, Big Trout Lake, Rush-Hen Lake, Lower Hay Lake, Little Pine Lake, Bertha Lake, Arrowhead Lake, Daggett Lake, Clamshell Lake, Pig Lake, Island Lake, or Loon Lake. Wherever your eroding shoreline is, we can help.
The area is surrounded by beautiful lakes, including the Whitefish Chain of Lakes and Pelican Lake in Breezy Point. The trouble is your piece of your lakeshore might be washing away. Not only can you not enjoy it, but the washed-away land also becomes the property of Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, Pine River, or Jenkins – even though you’ll still need to pay property taxes on it. You can’t add back land once it’s gone.
If you’re losing your shoreline to erosion, you need riprap. Only a riprap shoreline – a carefully engineered barrier of stone undergirded by tough aquatic filter-fabric – can end erosion and stand the test of time. The local landscaper can’t build such a shoreline.
In addition to ending the erosion, you may also want a boat ramp, a sand beach, a patio, or other amenities. We can help you there, too.
