Contact Lakeshore Guys® today to protect and beautify your riverbank or your stream, creek, or pond shoreline.
Do you own property on a river – perhaps the mighty Mississippi or the St. Croix – or a stream, creek, or pond? Want to make your riverbank erosion-resistant and easier on the eyes? Sick of worrying about your property every time the water is high? Lakeshore Guys® can help. We install the toughest riprap shorelines built by human hands, and can help you keep your riverbank or other shoreline from washing away.

Benefits of Installing Riprap on Your Riverbank
We probably should have named ourselves “Shoreline Guys,” but we thought “Lakeshore Guys®” had more of a ring to it when we started 20+ years ago. We also didn’t anticipate how many people would want our know-how and artistry on other bodies of water, like rivers, streams, creeks, and ponds.
Our experience and attention to detail are crucial when you’re talking about a body of water with a current. Water that flows (rather than sits still) has a tendency to find and exploit any weaknesses in design or craftsmanship. Even a poorly stitched seam or overexposed edge in your riprap fabric, for example, could turn your stone creation into a house of cards.
Here’s a short video a customer sent to us 2 years after we erosion-proofed his riverbank by installing erosion-resistant riprap. It was a challenging job, because the water levels can rise by 6 feet. But it’s held up well.

If you can dream it, we can build it – and probably have built it already. We’ve created shoreline areas with staircases, steps, paths, boat ramps, bridges, patios, barbeque pits, sandy beaches, general hang-out areas, fountains, koi ponds, and more.
